I can't believe the difference in how I've felt today and yesterday compared to the awful week and weekend last week. Is it going to last? Don't know, but I'm thankful for the good days I have now. I never felt this good at this point in my other pregnancies, so I'm sure it's due to the Diclectin working.

- My husband and I were married July 2004. Our first child, a daughter was born April 2005 and our second, a son, arrived December 2006. Then our second son was born in October 2010. All pregnancies I suffered from HG, with it being worse with my second one. My 3rd pregnancy was by far the the best out of the 3 and that is because of the Diclectin.

What is Hyperemesis Gravidarum?
"Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a rare condition characterized by persistent and severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It is debilitating and causes weight loss, dehydration, nutritional deficiencies, electrolyte imbalance, pH imbalance (metabolic acidosis), and possibly liver damage. Hyperemesis gravidarum may be related to the high hormonal levels in the blood from pregnancy, although the exact cause is not known."

HG started at 5 weeks 2 days, and I "only" threw up about 35 times this pregnancy. The "easiest" pregnancy out of the 3, since I was throwing up about 6x a day with the 1st and up to 12x a day with the 2nd.

Definitely have to be thankful for the good days! I actually had some good days with Rosalie - it was a blessing! I am thrilled that the diclectin is working for you!
